Ask me anything
Those I follow on Twitter are my media diet, which means I’m always looking for ways to cut down on overwhelm.
I’ve been using Paper.li for about a week now and am a big fan! The site basically takes who you follow on Twitter and based on retweets and other unknown factors, comes up with a fresh online newspaper for you daily (or bi-daily/weekly if you prefer). You can retweet/favorite/reply right on the page so I haven’t had to deal with Hootsuite at all. You can even add rss feeds for specific blogs so that they always show up.
I still go on Twitter itself for more niche news but I recommend Paper.li if you use Twitter to find news articles and find yourself scrolling through thousands of tweets to do so. My news reading/sharing time per day is down to 1 hour!
Mine is based on whom I follow (a long, obsessively culled list of news orgs, arts, architecture, urbanism, NYC, and soccer news/blogs) and you can read it here.
